Hannes Heikura vie katsojan valon ja pimeyden rajapinnalle, valokuvataiteen perimmäiseen
ytimeen, valon kuvaamiseen. Mustavalkoisen valokuvauksen ilmaisukeinoin Heikura asettaa
valon kuviensa keskiöön ilman värien tuomaa hälyä.
Hannes Heikura leads the viewer to the boundaries of light and darkness, to the ultimate
core of photography – the depiction of light. Working with the means of black and white
photography, Heikura gives light the leading role in his pictures, without the noise of colour.
